Basic Eligibility
Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens aged 18–30, with a university degree or the equivalent of two completed years of full-time undergraduate study. This up-to-twelve-month route differs from the six-month university-based programme for ages 18–25.
Permitted Employment
Employment is allowed with ACRA-registered companies or ROS-registered organisations. Regulated professions retain Singapore registration requirements. Check the employer and duties rather than assuming every activity is permitted.
Restrictions
Freelance work is not permitted. Work for one employer is limited to six months, after which another employer or holidays are possible. Study or training has programme-specific limits. The eligibility page does not state those limits numerically; consult the selected programme’s official details rather than assuming a full year.
Plan the Twelve-Month Period
Track citizenship and education evidence, stay dates, work start and the six-month employer limit separately. Allow time for any employer change. Check professional, study and training arrangements independently of maximum stay.
