Details and conditions
Licensed cleaning businesses must pay resident cleaners according to the applicable ladder. Distinct restroom duties recognise specialist work and require the corresponding wage.
Context and follow-up
Licence breaches can attract up to S$5,000 financial penalties and suspension or revocation. A review was planned for 2025. This implementation order follows the accepted recommendations and is not a duplicate of their earlier announcement.
