What the release reports
For placements after 1 December 2021, agencies must conduct at least one follow-up with the worker and employer within three months.
Details and conditions
Telephone or in-person checks assess settling-in and suitability and clarify employment standards. The obligation becomes an agency licence condition.
Context and follow-up
MOM and the agency association developed guidance, with routine audits checking compliance. Follow-up is an ongoing placement responsibility, rather than ending all agency involvement when the worker first joins the household.
Official source
This report is independently written from the MOM release dated above. Case status, policy announcements and historical figures refer to that release.
