Who applies?
This ICA route is for a Parent of a citizen/PR. Parents-in-law are excluded. A child aged at least 21 sponsors; for a younger child, a citizen/PR sponsor aged at least 21 is needed.
Documents and submission
Prepare the applicable ICA checklist: passport/photo, family relationship records, education and income/employment evidence for the applicant/sponsor where relevant. Non-English documents need accepted official translations. Prepare originals/copies and complete the declarations in the appropriate ICA account.
Fees and processing
Application S$45; issuance S$60; Multiple Journey Visa S$30 where applicable. Fees are non-refundable. Complete applications generally take six weeks, with longer cases possible. Approval still requires the issuance formalities.
