Public searches and representative applications
Members of the public can check a property’s Annual Value without Singpass login. The page lists S$2.50 including GST per successful enquiry and up to 50 property records per transaction. Appointed representatives can apply for house or unit numbers, while authorised tax agents can object to an Annual Value with evidence and client property details. A valuation search, numbering application and assessment objection serve different purposes.
Submit property information and ownership changes
When IRAS requests property-tax information, use the supplied unique code and the relevant Excel template, with supporting documents where needed. Authorised lawyers or law-firm clerks use Update Property Ownership to file the Notice of Transfer, with property, seller, buyer and transfer particulars. The directory estimates most ownership updates within one month. Keep the transaction acknowledgement and check the resulting records rather than assuming a submitted form has already updated the ownership account.
