What the release reports
Accepted recommendations add specialist and senior-specialist roles from July 2023 and a sustained wage schedule through 2029. More than 3,000 employees benefit.
Details and conditions
Each role requires three relevant WSQ modules. Specialist routes provide progression without forcing every skilled worker into supervision. Entry basic wages are illustrated rising from about S$1,650 in 2022 to S$2,385 in 2029.
Context and follow-up
A 2025 review was planned. Basic wages exclude overtime and other payments; employers should use the role-specific report rather than apply the entry example to all staff.
