Food services PWM: 2026–2028 wage increases

MOM publication date:

What the release reports

Accepted recommendations introduce annual food-services wage increases each July, starting 1 July 2026. The entry monthly gross-wage floor rises from S$2,080 to S$2,220, then S$2,360 and S$2,500 in 2027 and 2028.

Details and conditions

Separate ladders apply to quick-service and full-service roles, with part-time hourly floors. Monthly amounts exclude overtime; part-time rates cover workers below 35 weekly hours. The wage table below summarises monthly levels.

Context and follow-up

The recognised WSQ course list expands, while relevant higher-education and private-institution qualifications can meet the training minimum. Workers may also access enhanced Workfare Skills Support, subject to eligibility. Employers should check both role classification and training, rather than applying one entry wage to every job.
