What the release reports
Accepted recommendations set hourly wage floors for agency-employed part-time and ad-hoc security officers during 2026–2028. Part-time means contracted work below 35 hours weekly.
Details and conditions
The entry security-officer rate is S$11.80 in 2026, S$12.65 in 2027 and S$13.45 in 2028. Higher grades have separate rates in the table below. Ad-hoc work may fall within part-time employment depending on weekly hours.
Context and follow-up
The announcement also planned a further PWM review in 2025. Workers can seek help from the security union or NTUC’s U Care Centre. This schedule concerns security-agency employees and should not be substituted for the separate in-house security ladder.
