What the release reports
The service lets private homeowners check registered work-pass residents and remove departed tenants, replacing paper submissions. Alerts and property delisting were planned for full rollout in 2019.

OFWAS checks acceptable addresses, occupancy and relevant HDB registration. Early service use generated 489 reports of misused addresses.
Context and follow-up
MOM rectified records and investigated employers or workers. Homeowner access complements employer address duties; an online registration alone cannot make an overcrowded or unauthorised residence acceptable.
