What the release reports
The Government accepted twenty-two recommendations in August 2019 after reviewing retirement, re-employment and older-worker CPF arrangements.
Details and conditions
The workgroup sought longer productive working lives, stronger retirement savings and workplaces valuing older staff. Its report covers employer and worker support alongside age and contribution changes.
Context and follow-up
The original report and key-recommendation annex are linked. Subsequent Bills and phased dates implement the policy; accepting recommendations is distinct from every proposed change taking immediate effect.
Career and workplace support
The infographic also recommends structured career discussions, job redesign, more part-time re-employment, flexible medical benefits and age-friendly workplace grants. Long-term contribution increases depend on economic conditions; employers should distinguish the proposal’s targets from subsequent implementation dates.
