From September 2019, concessions extend beyond immediate family to eligible extended relatives or friends living with the employer.
Details and conditions
The cared-for person must be a Singapore citizen below sixteen, at least sixty-seven, or certified with disability under the specified assessment route. Employer and beneficiary need the same registered address.
Context and follow-up
New applications declare the arrangement; existing employers apply separately. One helper per eligible person is allowed, capped at two per household. Co-residence alone is insufficient without the beneficiary criteria.
