What the release reports
Sim Ling Zhen and Wu Wenchun were each fined S$72,000 for salary offences affecting 103 employees across three companies. Each admitted twelve charges; twelve further counts each were considered.
Details and conditions
Approximately S$432,000 was owed for August–December 2022, but only S$73,000 was eventually paid. The businesses closed amid rental arrears, and the pair failed to cooperate adequately with mediation and investigations.
Context and follow-up
TADM assisted affected workers with financial and employment support. The release distinguishes first and repeat salary-payment offences and directs confidential reports to MOM. A fine imposed on management does not mean all outstanding wages were recovered.
