Eligibility and wage conditions
PW Mark recognises firms paying progressive wages and helps buyers identify them. Eligibility requires at least one citizen or PR worker covered by a sectoral or occupational PW. Qualification requires paying the relevant sectoral/occupational wage and paying all other local workers at least LQS. Covered sectors are cleaning, security, landscape, lift/escalator maintenance, retail, food services and waste management, plus administrators and drivers.
Procurement and PW Mark Plus
Eligible firms awarded Government contracts from tenders called on or after 1 March 2023 must hold PW Mark throughout the contract; supporting subcontractors are included. The requirement extends to Government quotations from 1 March 2024. PW Mark Plus additionally requires adoption of the Tripartite Standard on Advancing Well-being of Lower-Wage Workers, covering training/career development, safety and health, and rest areas.
