Who registers and how?
Citizens and PRs register at age 15 before turning 16. Complete the online registration and biometric enrolment. Government/government-aided school students enrol at school; other registrants or those missing the school session book ICA enrolment. Bring student identification for identity checks.
Documents, fees and collection
Prepare a compliant colour photo taken within three months. Relevant name changes need supporting records/parental consent; PR name changes must first appear on the passport. Fees are S$10 for citizens and S$50 for PRs. School collection is arranged by the school; ICA-enrolled applicants may book post-office collection from the next working day after enrolment. Uncollected cards are destroyed after three months from registration.
