Travel document and exemptions
ICA lists visa requirements for a holder of a Turkmenistan travel document. The page exempts diplomatic, official and service passports. Check the actual passport category. A visa permits travel to seek entry; ICA still determines admission and the e-Pass stay period.
Application documents
Use the country/document-specific checklist. ICA can request further evidence and accepted official translations for non-English documents. An LOI issued by a local contact follows ICA’s citizen/PR, age and business-representation rules where applicable.
| Document | What to prepare |
|---|---|
| Form 14A | Signed applicant particulars/declarations |
| Photograph | Recent compliant colour photo within three months |
| Passport copy | Biodata page; at least six months’ validity on entry |
| Introduction letter | May be requested case by case |
Submission, fee and result
Submit through the ICA service using an eligible local contact/strategic partner, or a Singapore mission/authorised agent. ICA advises application within 30 days before arrival. Processing fee S$30, non-refundable; usual processing is three working days excluding submission day, with longer cases possible. The submitter retrieves the approved e-Visa.
Planning example
A traveller holding a Turkmenistan document should use this checklist rather than a different country’s ordinary-passport rule. Visa approval does not replace SGAC submission or permit staying beyond the issued e-Pass.
