Eligibility and overseas residents
Re-register at 30 before turning 31 and at 55 before turning 56 if no replacement IC was issued in the previous ten years. Overseas residents during the required period re-register within one year after returning. Follow the digital notification and complete the Singpass application within one year of notification for the subsidised fee.
Preparation and timing
Prepare a recent compliant photo, relevant marriage/name records, and the PR’s passport biodata page where applicable. Fees: citizen S$10, PR S$50. General processing is seven working days, longer at peak periods or with unsuitable documents/photos. Collect within three months of approval.
